Not every pitch is going to end in a “yes” — in fact, it’s likely you’ll get many more “nos” than “yeses” (a rough rule of thumb when raising capital is that only 5–6% of your pitches will lead to a check). But those few “yeses” are the meetings that will turn your story into the real deal.
