Still, there are moments that make it all worthwhile. When someone I love and cherish answers my phone call with a sweet, confused “uh, hey?” it’s like music to my freaking ears. One friend breathlessly picked up the phone and claimed they were in the middle of a run, with their dog, in a place called Frogtown. Okay! I loved it.
