As I said, I still decided to give the TriStand a try and backed the project. So once the stand is released, I will get one with the stand and film holders and will be able to check how far off my predictions were. All my musings above are based on the video on the Kickstarter site. I have no affiliation or personal connections with the creator behind this campaign.
