I'm not sure if it's a thing on Medium, but any kind of bashing is not the sort of reading that warms my cockles. :-) I'm with Charlotte Higgins, whose writing I've enjoyed for many years. The danger is, though, that you can go a bit too far in the other direction and your message gets lost in the shouting. :-)
