It’s scary to have somebody pretending to be YOU, trying to use the name, reputation and following you’ve built over the years, to scam people and affect your credibility as a writer. As I said, not a nice feeling.

I sympathise. It happened to me over the summer and a few readers and fellow writers alerted me to it. I think Medium should act quicker, though. Thanks for sharing.
