A personal thing that irritates me, a “I just can’t believe another idiot did this” submission, is when I read a haiku that isn’t a haiku. A haiku style poem is not just three lines, it is a three-line poem that has five syllables in the first line, seven in the second, then five again in the third. If you want to write these, read about the style first and understand what you wrote might be cute, but it isn’t what you think it is.
