Hmmm... As a translator by trade and EFL teacher (English as a Foreign Language), I distrust AI translators a great deal. This is a good example. That sentence should read: "I didn't write this in English but..."

If you were communicating orally, it wouldn't really matter to use the AI version, but because you're writing, what you leave behind does matter. :-)
