We are visiting California again soon, from our home in the Midwest. We plan on making it out to The Old Place, even though we know the experience has changed. But the old high-backed booths are still there, and the weathered old exterior remains, although updated and repaired. We know that we won’t have the same experience, but we’ll enjoy the memories of when Barbara shuffle…
